A BILL to amend article fourteen, chapter seventeen-c of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section six-a, relating to prohibiting minors from being transported or riding in open truck beds.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article fourteen, chapter seventeen-c of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section six-a, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 14. MISCELLANEOUS RULES.
§
17C-14-6a. Transportation of minors in open truck beds
prohibited.
Drivers of open bed trucks shall not permit minors to ride, nor may any minor ride, in the open bed of an open bed truck.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to prohibit minors from being transported or riding in open truck beds.
